Text

In the tantric tradition, the concept of the ‘yogic body’ represents a micro-scale manifestation of the macro-scale universe. Within this body are elements such as oceans, rivers, flora, fauna and even prophetic figures.

In these sessions, the participant is invited to explore a variety of ancient and contemporary postures, as well as fluid movements designed to direct the ‘luminous cognition’ of yoga towards animal, plant and mineral entities. Immersed in Nicolas Floc'h's Mar Adentro exhibition, we will move on from observing his underwater photographic landscapes to the traditional visualisation of the yogic body and its classification of asanas (postures).

Breath of Life - Re-energise Yourself

How to retain and channel Prana, vital energy contained inside the breath.
Isa will help remind you that your highest truth is that you are breathing, you are alive.

Moving with Awareness - Challenge Yourself

How to wait for the breath to feed the movements of life in the most sustainable and optimal way
Her unique approach to Yoga practice invites this constant parallel to life. While guiding, Isa employs her singing voice as the most advance technology for healing through the vibrations of sound, awakening transformation and transmutation of personal boycott into personal empowerment while harmonising both polarities, unlocking the inner Sun and Moon.

Rest on your true nature - Nurture Yourself

Learn how to find inner stillness with full surrender into a guided deep relaxation - Bhakti Yoga Nidra with devotional chants from India.
Through guided inner journeys, Isa intertwines deep relaxation with traditional and devotional chants from India: Yoga Bhakti Nidras. By surrendering deeply into your elemental state you transcend the illusion of three-dimensionality and embark in this Astral journey honouring your light while embracing your darkness. With a deep feeling of mission accomplished in the Astral realm, you remember you are the one you have been waiting for here on Earth, the one your infinite lineage of ancestors have been waiting for to discontinue all those trangenerational patterns and to contribute in the highest and best way for the evolution on human kind.
By invoking the divine through traditional and devotional chants from India, Isa will facilitate the embodiment of the goddess and god, unlocking and removing all obstacles for this alchemical union of the polarities for abundance and harmonising both the micro and macrocosmos for the ultimate realisation of your inner guru, from darkness to light, from chaos to cosmic order.

For the last 22 years, Isa has dedicated her daily presence to sharing traditional Ashtanga Yoga with each student that crosses her path, supporting their inner journey with her playful heart and faithful dedication in order to inspire them to unravel their deepest potential within. From the moment she discovered her practice, she knew it would challenge her and open her heart to bring new levels of growth for a lifetime. She spent 10 years travelling in India to practice under the guidance of Shri K Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Jois and was among the first Portuguese teachers to be authorised by the Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India. Isa lives in Portugal with her family and teaches at beautiful locations in Lisbon and Cascais after her amazing Casa Vinyasa, the first Ashtanga Yoga Shala in Portugal, closed after 16 years. Over the years Isa has taught throughout Portugal, Europe, Asia and the Americas. Isa has taught and performed at several international festivals such as Boom, Being, Wanderlust, and Portugal Spirit Festival. In addition to Ashtanga practices, Isa also uses her singing voice as a tool for healing and transformation through the study and chanting of the Yoga Sutras, traditional Indian devotional Bhajans, and guided Yoga Nidras for deep relaxation. Together with Cuca Roseta, she released the double Album BHAKTI - Mantras & Meditations, a beautiful fusion of Portuguese guitar with devotional chants of India, with a special Mantra do Fado composed by Isa and Cuca
