Guided tours with commentary by the curators and guests

Cities are constantly changing organisms; formal and informal settlements grow and mature in between states of vulnerability. How can architecture and its related disciplines be relevant vehicles of change in the processes of remedying imbalances? Retroactivate is part of Terra, the 2022 Lisbon Architecture Triennale, which incorporates a call to action in building the space we inhabit, in a proposal to evolve towards a circular and holistic model, motivated by a greater and deeper balance between communities, resources, and processes. In a cycle of five commentated tours of the exhibition, the chief curators of Terra, the exhibition curators, and other guests will explore narratives that can give us clues to the different meanings of Terra [Earth].
