Call for the submission of projects and communications
International Conference on Art and Health
maat – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology and the Scientific Committee of the International Conference on Art and Health (10/11/2023) call for the submission of projects that lie at the intersection between art and medicine, taking a transdisciplinary approach. The aim is to present experimental, sedimented, or hypothetical practices, prototypes of new approaches, and solutions that promote well-being and health – be it of health professionals or of people who need healthcare –, as well as to test other territories of art and purposes for a museum or other cultural institution.
We invite civil society, people in the fields of science and research, and organisations – academic or otherwise –, in the medical, nursing, neuroscience, microbiology, technology, design, art, or architecture fields, to submit projects that connect art and health and to share the methodologies, challenges, and impacts. The aim is to open a debate on the present in order to work together on the future of two areas that share the common objective of promoting health and well-being.
Aimed at:
- Health and/or cultural professionals
