Scripts and scores for visual narratives

Since 2014, Milan-based studio òbelo combines editorial and graphic design work with research and educational projects. In this workshop, the studio will share its knowhow in devising collaborative actions in the visual design field, focusing on how scripts and scores may be used as generative tools for collective storytelling. Within the context of the exhibition Aquaria. Or the Illusion of a Boxed Sea, Guided Detour invites the participants to come up with and exchange performance-oriented texts to interact with the exhibition – artworks, research materials, spaces –, by engaging in the production of new aquatic narratives. 
The workshop is addressed to designers and educators, yet it welcomes anyone interested in establishing imaginative forms of connection with the exhibition’s contents.
