Love Open Call

Love Open Call.

In the month that celebrates love, we're inviting everyone with an Instagram account to take part in a creative exercise, inspired by Joana Vasconcelos' work Solitário [Solitaire], on display at MAAT.

We want creative and original photographs of your idea of love, the protagonists of an affectionate relationship where all types of love are valid.

With #MAATLoveOpenCall and a mention of @maatmuseum and @joanavasconcelosatelier, these photographs will be eligible to take part in a digital exhibition at MAAT and win the work Cupido [Cupid] (2024) by Joana Vasconcelos, plus a MAAT card (valid for one year), awarded at a public ceremony at MAAT.

Prize:

— 10 photographs will be selected by the jury chaired by the artist Joana Vasconcelos and these finalist photos will be presented in a one-week pop-up digital exhibition (16 to 22 February) at MAAT.

— The most inspiring photograph of the 10 finalists (on feed), will be selected as the “winning photograph” by the jury chaired by the artist Joana Vasconcelos, awarded with the work Cupido [Cupid] (2024) by her and a MAAT card (valid for one year), awarded at a public ceremony at MAAT.
