RWSNK ECHO, title of an exhibition by Nuno da Luz, was comprised of two simultaneous interventions at two different locations, both in Berlin:
At the Kunstraum BOTSCHAFT, a composition developed in time, where large sculptures and prints installed from the beginning received additional interventions carried out by guest artists, and the sound pieces featured in the space were replaced and/or modified.
On the Portuguese Embassy on Hiroshimastr., there was a temporary intervention made up of wood sculptures that were also functional objects to be used by the public and participants of a series of three events entitled “The Forest is the School“.
The exhibition was organised by MAAT in the context of the partnership with the Portuguese Embassy in Berlin, aimed to promote the international recognition of Portuguese contemporary art, in particular of the artists with works in the Portuguese art collection that the EDP Foundation has been developing since the year 2000.
Nuno da Luz (b. 1984) was one of the artists selected for the EDP Foundation New Artists Award in 2011.
