Activating the work One, Two, and Many Library, we're going to hear why Clarice Lispector's An Apprenticeship or the Book of Pleasures was the book Maria João Mayer Branco chose to share at DOIS. We'll debate the topic of love in the "Sun".
The Reading Body, or Infinity is the latest instalment in Marta Wengorovius's plastic and participatory artwork ONE, TWO, AND MANY. This visual piece is also a method through which the artist explores issues stemming from intuition and the genesis of movement, emphasising the different dimensions of three types of dynamics: ONE as singularity and interiority, TWO as intimacy, and MANY as an encounter with the experience of community.
Maria João Mayer Branco is an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Nova University Lisbon and Deputy Director of IFILNOVA – Nova Institute of Philosophy.
