The inclusive ensemble Notas de Contacto will once again be performing at MAAT's Oval Gallery, this time with an original piece – Círculo [Circle] – composed especially for the celebration of the International Day of People with Disabilities on 3 December. This composition features improvisation dynamics structured through tablet visualisation, based on the combination of the sounds of traditional instruments and everyday materials or objects.

Notas de Contacto, an inclusive ensemble of people with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, is part of the solidarity programme of the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra - Musical Association. The partnership established with CERCIOEIRAS in 2009 develops a strategic vision of active citizenship in artistic and social inclusion and empowerment.
