ARTLAB
Residency for young people
A programme of interdisciplinary, experimental and immersive work that explores the intersections between the visual and performance arts, technology, design and architecture. Artlab was created to highlight processes that explore each participant’s personal world and their relationship with space, time, society, the museum and contemporary art. In this fourth edition, we will look at various art techniques such as drawing, hydro dipping, photography, video and performance in a close dialogue with the exhibitions on display at the museum and the various stakeholders involved — artists, curators, educators and specialised technicians. We will think about the transformative agency of culture as a tool to raise awareness of the way we experience social and urban space.
With Hugo Barata, Joana Andrade, Patrícia Trindade, Renato Santos, Susana Anágua and Fabrizzio Pires . And special appearances by the artists Catarina Botelho and Cláudia Martinho.
