Text

The exposition Energy. Perpetual motion is the result of an unprecedented collaboration between the collections of the National Archaeological Museum and the EDP Foundation's Energy Heritage Collection to tell the story of mankind's relationship with permanent and constant energies. The Central Tejo (Tejo Power Station), full of original machinery, is the unique setting for this journey, which covers a long historical arc to show us the continuous processes of invention and reinvention established with the energies of the natural world, including the driving forces of Water, Fire, Air/Wind and Movement.
